Assessment Literacy Training UEA and your local (Box Elder, Cache, Logan and Rich) Association invite you to participate in Cohort II of Assessment Literacy Training for Association members. If you missed sessions when they were offered in the fall, here is your opportunity to join us this spring. Assessment Literacy Because-- With Student Learning Objectives (SLOs) teachers want to better understand the role of valid assessment of student learning that isn’t just another test. SLOs can provide a way for educators to demonstrate what they do as professionals when they set learning goals, establish targets and design valid assessments. The UEA has created an Assessment Literacy curriculum to support UEA members in better understanding assessment and implementing evaluation requirements, including SLOs. The curriculum was designed by educators for educators to help members increase teaching effectiveness and improve student outcomes.
