Critical Communication About Evaluation



​Teacher Evaluations Are Here And They Count
What began five years ago with SB 64 is continues. If you are a provisional teacher, you probably have had already two summative evaluations. If you are a career teacher, this could be your year.  Your evaluation could affect your placement on the salary schedule.  So, the training will address the three themes:

Law, Rule and Policy--Lines of Evidence--Effective Communication

Talking About Your Evaluation
Besides reviewing the evaluation process and discussing some upcoming changes, this seminar will help you as you work with your administrator to better achieve fair and effective communication about your evaluation. These conversations are critical in three ways:

1.  They involve a critique of your work.
2.  They are critically important.
3.  They can reveal power disparities.
